As a former speaker at Andy Croll’s Brighton Ruby conference, I am shocked and appalled that I just heard about this. Alas, setting off for the UK with three weeks of notice simply isn’t in the cards

I love that it’s single track. So annoying to be only one of your company at a conference and having to pick talks.
Seems like it’s always the same bootstrapper crowd going to all these conferences. Is there really much of a difference between say MicroConf US vs MicroConf Europe vs Bacon Biz Conf vs LTV Conf?
Off topic: I just realized Joanna Wiebe (CopyHackers) and Jane Portman (UI Audit) are two different people.
There is definitely some crossover, which is largely due to the fact that there are a small number of bootstrapped small businesses that actually talk about their businesses in depth.
FWIW, I’ll be speaking and I’ve never spoken at a MicroConf, so there’s that. 
We’re aware of the issue of ‘a circuit’ - a similar thing happens in the world of my other conference http://brightonruby.com.
So we’ve tried to add some local ‘unheard’ flavour as well as names you might recognise. Of course in the world of the internet, one person’s ‘famous’ is another’s ‘who the hell is that’. 
I’ve also just heard of this for the first time. Conference organisers, next time please post well in advance in this forum! I for one would be grateful!
