What I want to do is basically drip marketing on Facebook. So when someone follows my page or likes one of my posts we then have an automated system for contacting them with a message. There could be automated follow up messages as well.

Is this a thing currently possible with Facebook? If not can be it done with their API’s and a thirty party solution?

You can do drip marketing campaigns with automated Facebook Messenger bots, with limitations.

Also, the limitations are getting more stringent in 2020.

Tools like Mobile Monkey, ManyChat, and ChatFuel make this easy, or use something you create yourself.
