Hi, my name is Dan and I’m a software engineer and have dreamed of developing my own business to support my family (wife and 4 kids). I left my full time job at HP last year and have been focused on figuring out what I want to do. It’s a lot harder than I thought.
A few of my projects include Shortmarks, Riddles and Brain Teasers, TechMadePlain.com and a Windows desktop timer called SnapTimer. One of the things I realized is that I didn’t even try to build an income for Shortmarks or SnapTimer, even though they’ve been well-received. The riddles site has made a good income (a surprising amount actually) from Google Adsense.
