Has anyone used [Help a Reporter][1] to get attention for your business/consulting?

I’ve spent some time over the years trying to make something of it. Not every single day, but I’ve probably replied to maybe 50 over the years. I’ve gotten selected for a story 1 time for some random radio show maybe 7 years ago or something. A long time ago anyway. Nothing came from it.
It seems like it should be a relatively good place for bootstrappers to spend some time. Maybe someone with a more newsworthy app would do better.
