Google publishes it's search quality rating guidelines

These guidelines are used by human reviewers to asses whether their search algorithms are effective, not to evaluate individual sites. None the less they are worth a read to understand where they are coming from in placing your page in the search results.

I love it when these are released! They’re a massive insight into where Google is headed. So it’s not about how they evaluate for rankings today, but how they want to tomorrow. This year the dominant theme is mobile. Who knew?

But like last year, the emphasis is still on E-A-T: expertise, authoritativeness and trustworthiness.

And yes I printed and am reading my way through the whole thing… It may not be healthy, but I love this stuff!
