I think something a bit more private than here or reddit could be nice (though, I’m on reddit anyways). Or maybe something that involves being online at the same time to chat at least once a month.

I’ve got no problem with joining slack for that purpose, that sounds like it’s well suited for the kind of questions, discussions or mutual helping that could happen.

I’ve tried this. Ended up an investor in his business. Worked out quite well for me. I think the most important thing is pick the right person. In my case, he’s my friend for some 15 years. So we know and trust each other
