Just remember that being a director, as I understand it, gives you additional legal liabilities (e.g. if the company is accused of negligence or fraud).
True, but if it’s your spouse “technically” you are in it together already. I’m not sure how it works in the UK but in Canada having my wife and myself as directors and owners makes profit sharing much easier.
